QUALITY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION – CAPS CURRICULUM
Nature @ Heart offers a wide range of Environmental Education programme topics; they link to the CAPS curriculum and are aligned to the environmental education minimum standards set out by the City of Cape Town.
Nature @ Heart offers day and night programmes with a main focus on Holiday Programmes for children, tailored made to the group specific age and topic of interest. Nature @Heart environmental education programmes differ from most other’s because it promises quality assured programmes which can be fully or partially catered for.
School / group programmes
We offer a 3-hour Environmental Educational Programmes for any school or group in our local nature reserves.
These programmes can be day or night programmes and may also be linked to the school curriculum.
They’re ideal for school, church or youth groups and facilities are wheelchair friendly.

Holiday Programmes
Give your children a fabulous outdoor experience this holiday!
We provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for children to learn more about nature, meet new friends and enjoy the great outdoors.
Children 6 – 12 years of age, hosted daily at a local Nature Reserve.

Overnight Camps
Our Overnight Camps allows you to explore the lesser seen nocturnal life in local nature reserves.
Campers might see creatures such as the porcupine, brown house snake, spiders, scorpions, frogs, the Spotted Eagle Owl and Cape Dwarf Chameleon.
This fun experience is for 9 – 12 year olds!

Seniors Picnics & outings
Seniors Picnics and outings are ideal for groups of friends or family. We can adjust talks and activities to ensure comfort for all, and facilities are wheelchair friendly.
